1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Evento, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. This applies to students, delegates, academic institutions, partners, and organisers.

2. User Accounts & Registration Types

Users may register as Students, Delegates, Academic Institutions, Local Partners, International Partners, or Organisers. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your profile and credentials. Institutions must provide verifiable affiliation details.

3. Event Registration & Ticketing

When you register for an event, you enter into an agreement with the event organiser. Evento facilitates registration and payment processing but is not the organiser unless explicitly stated. Ticket prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless you choose USD display.

4. Payments & Refunds

Payments are processed through approved gateways including KontryPay, MTN MoMo, Telecel MoMo, and USDT-TRC20. Refund policies are set by individual event organisers and institutions. Evento is not liable for organiser refund decisions.

5. Institutional Content & Programmes

Academic institutions and organisers are responsible for the accuracy of event descriptions, programmes, schedules, and announcements published on the platform.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the platform, submit false institutional affiliations, harass other delegates, or attempt to circumvent registration or payment systems.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, and software are owned by Evento or its licensors. Event content remains the property of respective institutions and organisers.

8. Limitation of Liability

Evento is provided on an "as is" basis. We are not liable for event cancellations, changes, or disputes between delegates and organisers beyond our role as a registration platform.

9. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
